Oyewole Toriola

Chief Finance Officer

Oyewole Toriola is a seasoned accountant. A fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) with over 20 years’ experience in finance, strategy treasury and risk management.

Prior to joining the company, Oyewole was an Associate Director at KPMG Professional Services Nigeria, where he led the Finance & Accounts department of the firm. Some of his key accomplishments included the implementation of a new ERP (SAP) for KPMG and re-organization/resourcing of the finance team after significant staff turnover.

He began his professional career with KPMG Professional Services in 2003 where he led assurance engagements within the telecoms, hospitality, shipping, manufacturing and consumer goods industries. He has since then worked in various capacities in the banking, manufacturing, and energy sectors including a stint with The Honeywell Group as Head of Enterprise Control and Compliance, between 2012 and 2015.

Oyewole graduated top of his class, earning a first-class honours degree in agriculture from The University of Ibadan, Nigeria, in 2002. He is also an alumnus of Imperial College London, United Kingdom where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree (with specialization in finance) in 2016, winning the Finance Price for having the overall best performance in the finance specialization and project.
